Data Literacy
I work closely with schools to build a data-driven culture that transforms the way decisions are made and learning is enhanced. Through collaborative workshops and tailored coaching, I help school leaders and teachers develop the skills and confidence to analyse and interpret student, school, and system-level data. By aligning data analysis with educational goals, I guide schools in using insights from key sources like NAPLAN, PAT, and other diagnostic tools to identify trends, measure progress, and adjust teaching strategies. I also support schools in creating data plans that are easy to implement, ensuring that data isn’t just collected but actively used to inform planning, track progress, and improve student outcomes. Together, we build the capacity to make data an integral part of every learning decision, creating a system where data becomes a powerful tool for continuous growth.
Curriculum Mapping
Developing and implementing effective curriculum map across a school requires an approach to professional learning that is intensive, ongoing, and classroom centered. Schools wishing to enhance their teaching, learning, and assessment practices typically engage in partnerships for extended periods, ranging from six months to several years. Grant Lewis Consulting provides various options for curriculum mapping in schools ranging from an intensive partnership that is transformational in all aspects of curriculum/pedagogy in schools to custom foci that suit contexts.
